This fabric is a water resistant 600 denier polyester synthetic that is very tough. Because of its toughness, it is not as soft as the soft cotton or cotton duck materials. People who purchase Cordura have used it to make covers, bags, and farm truck or hunting truck seat covers. Since it is not water PROOF, it is not a good choice for outdoor seating such as four wheeler seats (water will seep through to the foam).
